Menu designer, Caroline Seely, shares her tips for fast family meals that are deliciously different…

We all need food inspiration from time to time, and especially when working from home means that you don’t pass by the shops regularly. With so little time to plan, shop and cook we inevitably tend to stick to a safe food repertoire, producing the same meals every week in a rota that becomes bland and, frankly, just a little dull. And, in my case at least, although online supermarket shopping is my saviour, it’s also more than a little responsible for dumbing down my food inspiration when I can just hit the Favourites button and order last week’s shopping all over again.

But food should never be dull! By sharing our family favourites and quick-cook tips here within the iHubbub community, we can save money and open up a whole new cooking repertoire for ourselves and our families, making food more interesting again.

TGIF ... yippee, it's Friday. Before darting off for the weekend wanted to give you luvely writers the heads up. We are soon to be launching a new magazine section which will contain oodles of good info, advice and a how to column.

Is anyone interested in contributing and writing for us? Take a look at these two articles which will be similar to the features we'll have in the new magazine.

I've been using Scrivener writing software for some now after being asked to review it for iHubbub's author's page.

It is a powerful content-generation tool for writers that allows you to concentrate on composing and structuring long and difficult documents. It is every authors, writers, novelist, aspiring writers or self published writer's dream!

And you could win it!

Do you love reading? Do you need to learn while you read? And can you sling a good sentence or two together?

If so, get in touch with us as iHubbub's reviews are very popular and we need reviewers to read for us.

How it works:
1. Lodge your contact details with us via our contact page.
2. Tell us your interests.
3. Write a paragraph or two about our site so we can see your writing style.
4. Send us your own personal review on the famous film 'Sixth Sense'.
5. If you cut the mustard, we'll send you a book to review.
